The organisation was faced with serious safety issues, multiple safety plans and cultures. The Lloyd-Jones Meakin undertook a Current State Analysis survey and developed a strategic plan to build a strong safety leadership and culture. At the same time a common safety management structure and system was developed with emphasis on people and behaviours. Over two years, the Lloyd-Jones Meakin Group has trained, supported and coached the executive team in safety leadership as well as managed specific projects such as; developing key principles for hazard and risk assessment, incident management and investigation, emergency response and develop meaningful safety and project KPIs.
